Natacha Alpert has been in the footwear industry working creatively for footwear brands for the past 17 years with the iconic brands Nine West, Lumberjack Italy, Allen Edmonds, Vince, Via Spiga, Franco Sarto, Naya, Bzees, Sols 3D printed insoles, Replica labs, DVF, Naturalizer, Uggs, Asics, Sam Edelman, Kenneth Cole, Timberland, Adidas and Reebok in the USA and Globally. Her main focus is bringing together fashion and innovation - buliding product collections in lifestyle brands with a vision to create iconic products. By combining Innovation, 3D Printing, Wearable tech, Robotics, Computer Vision Technology , Advanced material Innovation and Nanotechnology - MIRAS3D connects each brand to the next paradigm in the design industry.
Currently she is also an adjunct Professor at Washington University -School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The Masters program focuses on teaching for the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 Semesters on Emerging, Disruptive and Sustainable technologies. Her course covers 3D & 4D printing, Nanotechnology, Generative Design, LIFI, Blockchain, Piezoelectrics, Automation, Biomanufacturing, AI, Machine Learning, AR, VR and Quantum Computing.
After living oversea's in Italy, London and Istanbul for many years - her expertise is bringing cultural design cues and innovation to life on a Global level. Focusing on 3D printing in fashion - her main goal is how to introduce new technologies to consumers and help evolve production and design as we know it.
