Natacha Alpert has been in the footwear industry working both in Corporate and Consulting in footwear & technology for the iconic brands Timberland, Dr Scholl's, Allen Edmonds, Vince, Via Spiga, Kenneth Cole, Nine West, Diane Von Furstenberg, Sam Edelman, Franco Sarto, Ryka, Abeo, Adidas, Reebok, Asics, Autodesk Gallery, Famous Footwear, SOLS 3D printed insoles, Lumberjack Italy, Uggs, Replica labs, Washington University School of Orthopedic's, 3D Print week NYC, LA Footwear Innovation Summit and PI Innovation globally. Her main focus is bringing together fashion and innovation - building strategic roadmaps for the future. By combining Advanced innovation, 3D design, 3D scanning, 3D & 4D Printing, robotics, computer vision technology , AI, automation, AR,VR generative design and nanotechnology - MIRAS3D connects each brand to the next paradigm in the design industry.
Currently she is also an adjunct Professor at Washington University -School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The Masters program focuses on teaching for the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 Semesters on Emerging, Disruptive and Sustainable technologies. Her course covers 3D & 4D printing, Nanotechnology, Generative Design, LIFI, Blockchain, Piezoelectrics, Automation, Biomanufacturing, AI, Machine Learning, AR, VR and Quantum Computing.
After living oversea's in Italy, London and Istanbul for many years - her expertise is bringing cultural design cues and innovation to life on a Global level. Focusing on the 3D ECOSYSTEM in fashion - her main goal is how to introduce new technologies to consumers and help evolve production and design as we know it.
